These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sól Eira Candles website and products. By accessing our site and purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms.

1. Product Safety and Liability Disclaimer

Use of Sól Eira Candles is at your own risk. While we prioritize safety, candles inherently involve fire and heat, posing potential risks. By purchasing and using our products, you agree to the following:

  • Fire Hazard: Always burn candles within sight, on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Glass Container Safety: Our candles are housed in heat-resistant glass; however, temperature fluctuations or misuse can cause breakage. Do not burn candles to the bottom of the container, and extinguish the flame when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
  • Choking Hazard: Hidden messages, dried flowers, and decorative items inside the candle may pose a choking hazard. Keep away from children and pets.
  • Food-Like Appearance: Some of our candles resemble food. They are not edible. Ingesting candles may result in severe injury or death. Keep candles away from children and individuals with cognitive impairments.
  • Health Risks: Our candles use high-quality fragrance oils, but some individuals, including pregnant women and those with sensitivities, may react to scents. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
  • Fire-Related Damages: Sól Eira Candles is not liable for any damages resulting from fire, including property damage, injury, or death, arising from candle use. This includes fires caused by dried flowers, shells, wicks, secret messages, or any other component.

By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Sól Eira Candles shall not be held liable for any resulting harm.

2. Purchases and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout. By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the provided payment method.

3. Shipping and Returns

  • Shipping: We ship within Canada and internationally, subject to carrier availability. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Returns: Due to the handmade nature of our products, we only accept returns or refunds for defective items. Contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sól Eira Candles disclaims all liability for damages arising from the use of our products, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or property damage caused by candle use, fire, or glass breakage.
  • Health reactions to fragrances, including but not limited to respiratory issues or pregnancy complications.
  • Misuse, ingestion, or choking hazards related to our products.

In no event shall Sól Eira Candles’ total liability exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including product designs, logos, and text, is the property of Sól Eira Candles and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sól Eira Candles, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of our products or website.
